The short answer

Deepify uses no analytics, no tracking tools, and shows no advertising. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We do not track what you do in other apps or on other websites.

What stays on your device

• the text of the summaries you download, so they work offline,
• your reading progress, your highlights and your daily reading minutes,
• your settings (language, text size, theme),
• if you sign in, a session token in the system keychain.

All of it goes when you delete the app.

What reaches our server

Only if you sign in. Sign-in is Sign in with Apple — we never see your password, and if you use Apple's private relay address, we never see your real email either.

• which chapters you have read, and when,
• the text of your highlights,
• your daily reading minutes.

This exists for one reason: so you can carry on from where you left off on another device. We do not profile you and we do not send marketing.

What we do not collect

We have no access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone or calendar. The app does not ask for them.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted. Write to hello@deepify.app and we will handle it within 30 days. Account deletion can also be started inside the app, on the Settings screen.

Changes

If this text changes in substance, the date at the top changes with it.
